A team of Malaysian Youth Volunteers from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysia will be travelling to Uganda.

Ambassador Dorothy Samali Hyuha, High Commissioner of the Republic of Uganda to Malaysia flags off MyCorps, Malaysia to Uganda . A team of 11 Malaysian  Youth Volunteers from the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Malaysia will be travelling to Uganda for a period of three months on a voluntary mission in different fields.

Signing Ceremony of Memorandum Of Understanding (MOU) on the feasibility study for the development of proposed satellite city in Uganda by Malaysian Incorporated Berhad( Malaysian Inc) on 12th December 2017. Ambassador Dorothy Samali Hyuha, Hon. Isaac Isanga Musumba, Minister of State for Urban Development of the Republic of Uganda with delegation paid a courtesy call on Ministry of Urban Wellbeing, Housing and local government, Malaysia on 13th December 2017. The delegation later went for a site visit to Lembah Subang 2, Public Housing Program.

Miss Tourism Uganda 2017 Queen Challa Elma Kapel, Hon. Esther Anyakun Davinia and Hon. Centenary Robert paid a courtesy call to Uganda High Commission, Kuala Lumpur on Thursday 7th December 2017. The High Commissioner congratulated Queen Elma for representing Uganda in Miss Tourism international finals 2017. In addition, Honarable Members of Parliament appreciated the consistent support accorded to Queen Elma and their team. Ideas on how to promote Uganda tourism in Malaysia were  also discussed during the meeting.

MissTourism Uganda 2017 Queen Challa Elma Kapel and Uganda High Commisioner Dorothy Samali Hyuha at the opening ceremony of  Kuala Lumpur International Craft Festival (KLICF) on 24th November 2017 under the theme; crafts unite people. KLICF attracted 430 craft entreprenuers from 35 countries participating in sales, demonstrations and cultural performance activities.

In it's Maiden effort to increase the export of services, Malaysia Incorporated Services Bhd (Malaysian Inc) organized the participation of about 20 professional service providers for involvement in a proposed mixed development projects in Uganda. 

A half-day seminar organized by Malaysia External Trade Development Corp (Matrade) saw a presentation by Uganda Minister of State for Urban Development Hon. Musumba Isaac of the planned Kampala Eco-satellite City project and a pitching exercise by the Malaysian service providers.
