Ambassador Dr. Betty Oyella Bigombe meets with H.E. Ambassador Lindsay Kiptiness of the Republic of Kenya in Thailand to discuss collaborative approaches on repatriation of victims stranded in Myanmar

On 25th March 2025, Her Excellency Dr. Betty Oyella Bigombe, Ambassador of the Republic of Uganda to the Kingdom of Thailand (resident in Kuala Lumpur), held a consultative meeting with His Excellency Ambassador Lindsay Kiptiness of the Republic of Kenya at the High Commission of Kenya in Bangkok, Thailand. The meeting took place as part of Ambassador Bigombe’s regional engagements aimed at facilitating the safe repatriation of Ugandan nationals who remain stranded in scam centers along the Thai-Myanmar border.
