About the High Commission

The High Commission of Uganda in Kuala Lumpur, represents the Government of the Republic of Uganda in Malaysia and is also accredited to other eight (8) countries in the South-East Asia namely; the Kingdom of Thailand, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Republic of Indonesia, Republic of the Philippines, Lao People's Democratic Republic (Lao PDR), Brunei Darussalam, the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Republic of the Union of Myanmar.

Vision: A Secure Nation with Prosperous People.

Mission: To Promote and Protect Uganda's Interests Abroad. 

Key Functions: 

  • To promote Regional and International Peace and Security.
  •  To promote Commercial and Economic Interests in the East-Asian countries.
  • To Promote Adherence to International Law and Commitments. 
  • To strengthen the provision of Diplomatic Protocol and Consular services in the East-Asian countries.
  • To promote Uganda's Image in the East-Asian countries through Public Diplomacy.

Access policy for visitors 

No Weapons 

  • The Uganda High Commission, Kuala Lumpur has a strict ‘No Weapons Policy’.

  • No firearms, explosives, chemical/ biological or any form of weaponry will be allowed onto the premises.

  • Acquisition of access card to the building is at the  security office on ground floor 

  • Registration is mandatory at the reception
