The Mission in Kuala Lumpur is preparing to host Uganda - Malaysia Business Forum and Expo [Pearl of Africa Business Forum&Expo] from 23 -24 April, 2025.

On 09th October 2024, H.E. Dr. Betty Bigombe, Uganda's High Commissioner to Malaysia, led a delegation from the Uganda High Commission Kuala Lumpur in a productive meeting with Datuk Seri Dr. KK Chai, the founder and Group Executive Chairman of KK Supermarket & Superstore Sdn. Bhd. The discussions centered on exploring potential collaboration opportunities between Uganda and KK Supermarket in areas of trade and investment, particularly focusing on promoting Ugandan products in Malaysia’s retail market.

On 17th September 2024, Her Excellency Dr. Betty Oyella Bigombe, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uganda, presented her Letters of Credentials to His Excellency To Lam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
